L-Litter from Mabrunic



A trip to Portugal on short notice was ahead of us. To guarantee an absolute out-cross-breed we visited the HD-free male Link in Portugal.


Our Cimba couldn't wait after the long car trip Switzerland-Portugal. She married Link immediately.
On her 10th day in heat she did mate for the first time. This is very early in comparison with other Cao's.

Her gestation passed without any problems.
Cimba was very careful and took good care!
Weight gain 4kg (she was always eating)
Waist gain 19 cm.

60th day, delivery starts.
Cimba is delivering in a four hour period 8 puppies without any complication.
5 males and 3 bitches and all are very vital.
Birth weights between 300 and 350 gr.

    Now they are already 6 weeks old!
Playing is getting more intense.
Everything is getting explored and personalities are developing.
Different characters are forming.
It is time for the future owners to name their Cao.

7 weeks
Lenga is taking the lead.

Supervised play with children and visitors becomes a daily routine.
Sleeping from 23:00 until approx. 05:30. But then the really need to go outside.
They are calling with whining and hauling.
The nest is not misused as a dog toilette.

Cimba and Holiday
are watching everything.

Toys are discovered.

Our puppies are now 8 weeks old.
And now the first short car rides, walks in the woods and over meadows are real adventures for our "little ones".

Limbo, Lasco, Lei, Leo, Little big man, Lasca, Legra and Lisboa are getting used to the collar.
